About Proctor

The City of Proctor measures only three square miles, but there are incredible year-round activities here.  For bikers and hikers, we have trails for every skill level and easy access to the highly-rated Willard Munger Trail, the extensive Duluth trails, the award-winning Spirit Mountain Bike Park, Jay Cooke State Park and the Lake Superior Hiking Trail.  Winter or Summer Trails…come to Proctor.     

For ATV and OHV riders, Proctor works closely with clubs to designate and develop miles of trails that will run from border to border. Snowmobilers have access right from our hotels to miles of connected regional trails with plenty of trailer parking.

Proctor is the primary entrance to Spirit Mountain and all that has to offer year-round.  For great family fun, spend a few days at the Adventure Park with the Alpine Coaster, Zip Line, Chairlift Rides, Jumping Pillow, Disc and Mini Golf. Spirit Mountain offers unbelievable skiing and snowboarding with incredible views overlooking Duluth and Lake Superior.

In the summer, we welcome you to the Proctor Golf Course, Dirt Floor Arena, Fairgrounds and Proctor Speedway.
