Spirit Mtn. Adventure Park

Your Adventure begins right here at Spirit Mountain! You will find four seasons of fun at our Adventure Park with spectacular views of Lake Superior, St. Louis River, and Duluth.  And right next door to Proctor!

Superior Hiking Trail

The Superior Hiking Trail runs 310 miles from Proctor up the Lake Superior coastline nearly to the Canadian border. Trailhead parking lots along the route,  making the SHT ideal for day hikes, backpacking, and trail running.

ATV/OHV Trails

ATV/OHV riders can start in Proctor and connect to hundreds of miles of ATV & OHV Trails.  Check out the Soot Pits OHV trail, and fond  du Lac State Forest trails.  ATV use is allowed on designated highways in the City of Proctor and St. Louis County.

Munger State Trail

The Hinckley-Duluth segment of the Willard Munger State Trail has stunning scenery through rocky cliffs and over the St. Louis River Gorge.  The paved trail is perfect for bikers, walkers and in-line skaters in the warmer months, and snowmobilers and cross-country skiers in the winter.

Jay Cooke State Park

Proctor is only minutes from the historic Jay Cooke State Park.  Incredible rock outcroppings, rushing water, historic buildings, and miles of trails.  Both Munger and Lake Superior Hiking run through the park.  And you must see the iconic suspension bridge.

Ride the Skyline

Skyline Parkway runs from Proctor through Duluth with spectacular views of Lake Superior and the St. Louis River.  An easy ride for bikes and motorcycles  meandering through the Twin Ports.

Spirit Mountain Bike Park

Spirit Mountain Bike Park has received national accolades and is consistently ranked as a top 5 Bike Park in the Mid-West.  Enjoy the amazing views of Lake Superior and St. Louis River on lift-accessed day of biking.

Magney Snively Park

Magney Snively Nature Park is near Ely’s Peak and Proctor Minnesota.  The park is next to Spirit Mountain and connected to the Superior Hiking Trail.  Check out Ely’s Peak for incredible vistas.
